I no longer think there will be a fight. I think she'll be the candidate, not many will work as hard to get her elected, and she'll lose. The Party will concentrate on House and Senate election and let her be the sacrificial goat.
Pretty much spot-on. Except the name of the episode has to be "What Kind of Day has it Been?", which Sorkin features in every show he creates to prove he "gets it".
Don't feel bad, I was convinced the old SOB was unbudgeable, impervious to anything except a nuclear strike. I guess they broke the glass and pushed that button, eh?
My second thought was, "Where the hell is Joe? Did he have a stroke?" My first, of course, was WTF?!?!?!? Sunday afternoon.
As bits and pieces came out I about half decided that the aftermath of two brain surgeries finally kicked in, and we'll never see him 'live' again.
I was with Jim, and truly believed he'd hang in longer. Until I see him, live and functioning at least as much as he did before the Assassination attempt, I'm going to assume something has really incapacited him.
And I suspect "his" endorsement, which came later, was DOCTOR Jill putting one in the Dem tops dogs' eye. That chained Kamala to the last 3.5 terrible years' worth of policy.
OTOH, so much happened so quickly that it appeared planned way in advance.
Surely the most nauseating part of this has been all the tributes to Joe’s fifty years of selfless public service as if he hadn’t enriched himself at every turn.
I think it's brilliant!! 🤣
I like it, and I’m not so sure it is not pretty accurate, as soon as the fight over Kamala kicks off!

I almost choked on my coffee! 😂🤣 That scenario was probably not very far from what happened.
Who's that financial advisor on cable TV who's always spectacularly wrong? You're kinda like him. JK! We love you. ;-)
Who does that to his most loyal supporters? A d!ck who has no loyalty to anybody but himself.
Evidently Ron Klain is very upset.

I'm really torn about whar I believe happened.
I’d love to see George Clooney produce that!
