"And today, a lot of libs and lib sympathizers have egg on their faces. " Maybe, but they're wearing it like a badge of honor.

Yes, the don’t care about truth, they have the media to make sure their own “correct” narrative is the only one allowed, and anyone who disagrees is digitally purged. It’s Stalinism without the gulags. Today they can ostracize you and starve you from a distance.

The Lawler-Kaufman fued is the absolute pinnacle of pro wrestling. The Saturday morning Memphis wrestling show in the early 80s was pulling 70 shares of the viewing audience. Absolutely unprecedented.

Andy really missed his calling. If he had lived (wink wink), he could've made more as a wrestling manager than he ever did in Hollywood.

He would have been perfect for Vince McMahon's mid 80s WWF circus.

Imagine him starting his own promotion.

That would have been memorable, but I bet the existing promotions would have run him into the ground real quick.

Not with Andy's Hollywood connections! He's not some hillbilly like you people. Here, have ya tried this? It's called SOAP. Etc.

They wanted to kill him in Memphis. Absolute genius.

Andy was all about the show, not the business. He was the kind of performer who bought into his own schtick for the sake of the performance. I think this is why he was such an easy mark for the fraud “healers” when he was sick, he was too good at suspending his own disbelief.

Andy Kaufman was a true pioneer of what would only now be commonplace in sh*tposting/chan/troll culture. Tom Green came close a few times, but was a poor imitation. If Kaufman were alive today, I'd imagine he'd be like a 4chan Howard Hughes, just sh*tposting in tissue box slippers, no-one having seen him in person for like 20 years. It would have been great!

I like to think that troll culture has always been with us, mass communication had simply given it a wider audience.

I just can't stand the hypocrisy of the private jet fliers coming out against oil. These are the same types who fly private jets to Glasgow and spew 13,000 "tonnes" of CO2:

I don't find Trump a "scoundrel" so much as I do Big Tech (Twitter and Facebook) who literally locked the NY Post out of its own account. Dorsey even claimed Twitter wouldn't allow "hacked" info, although, along with the NYT had no problem publishing Trump's taxes. Psaki saying it's about Hunter is a lie. Biden is the "Big Guy". This President is LITERALLY COMPROMISED.

"Egg on their faces"? Sure, they've been exposed as liars, but they know that the people they look up to won't care and the people they look down on... won't care either. At least, that latter group won't say anything about it. They'll just remember they were lied to and vote Republican at the next election.

I'm a big Trump fan. I'm a big fan of yours. I love a few people who are fans of Biden and Trudeau. A few others who hate Trump still love me. There are a lot of combinations here that don't result in particle / anti-particle matter annihilating reactions. Keep up the great writing!

Any thoughts on the train wreck of "1883"?

I'm just wondering if centering the entire story on the black hole narcissism of a Millennial chick that is powerful enough to suck in and destroy any believability or empathy for every. single. other. character in the story has tweaked your positive view of this flaming scalp fire? We all make mistakes but an update on your previous recommendation that people waste their precious time in this short life on this belly button-diving hellscape might be a service to your readers. Just a thought (sorry for any misspellings because I gouged my eyes out after hate watching the whole season--have a nice day!).
