"As for the rest of you scum, go cower in your miserable shacks and await permission to forage for sustenance. And cover your faces, you worthless serfs! You are free to do what you’re told." Love it.
And then there is "Whenever the wokesters get their hooks into something, whether it’s politics, movies, music, literature, or whatever else, it’s quickly transformed into used food." Indeed.
Get checked. I had all three of those symptoms and no high temperature with covid. The malaise was the thing that bothered me the most. I'd be watching TV and think, "I don't to watch Paw Patrol; I should change the channel. Why am I on this channel, anyway?" Then 30 minutes later I'd still be watching it because it was too much trouble to pick up the remote
I'm an Iraq vet, know a bunch of Afghanistan vets. All of us are ready to vomit. Team Biden is abandoning Americans and Afghanis who risked literally everything to help us. People like Wilkow (who I usually like) are screaming about an "invasion" of Afghanis and conflating the disaster at the southern border with admitting actual legit, *legal* refugees. Also I hurt my back again and am exceptionally cranky. So that's my contribution for today
Don't apologize for how long or short your newsletters are. They're great. I am always surprised at how much you put in them. You had us at 'subscribe'.
I thought you still lived in DC, and often wondered “Why the hell doesn’t he go someplace else?” Glad to know you did.
Good column. The observation about both not knowing what would happen in Afghanistan and "There was no possible other outcome" is brilliant.

Good column as always. I hope you feel better soon.
