A lot of politicians probably watch the Eddie Murphy comedy, "The Distinguished Gentleman" as a how-to documentary rather than a satirical comedy (scammer decides that the real money is by becoming a scamming Congressman). But Stacey Abrams as found a way to scam the system by not even winning the election. While losing has certainly helped go from in the red to "in the black" (is that racist?), everyone knows that the real money is in winning, which is probably why she's running again. I mean, look at Obama and how much dough he's raking in post-presidency. I LOVE the images of Biden looking jealous while being overshadowed by Obama. It's like when the high school football quarterback who went to the state finals comes back to Homecoming, and the current team is 0-10. Third, love the praise for Michelle Yeoh – she is amazing and was a great part of both Shang-Chi and the Mandalorian episode where she fought with Asoka. Will probably leave my bunker to go see that movie at some point...

I am in awe of Stacy turning her gubernatorial election into a roadshow of "The Producers." I gotta say that casting herself as Max Bialystock is John Nash-level genius.

I will always be grateful to Joe Biden for the look on Stacey Abrams' face when, on live TV, Biden did NOT name her his VP choice--as she so clearly expected. Priceless.

I can't believe I'm thinking this out loud but are we better off with Kamala than if Abrams had been given the nod? I can't even say for sure at this point. They're both that bad.

I have had a rough day (yes, yes, not compared to 99% of the world's population, I get it, I suck, first world problems, put some dirt on it and walk it off jerk).

Finding out that I'm going to get to watch a movie with Short Round (he made Temple of Doom so much better than it would have been without that character) AKA Data from the Goonies in it? Okay, the day still sucks, but that little piece of info just made my day a whole lot better. I hope his acting and the movie itself are awesome!

"If a bunch of dimwits want to cheer her on because she lost, that’s none of my concern."

I see your point, but those dimwits are polluting the public square and interrupting the grown-ups who are trying to talk.

"America needs journalists."

Indeed it does. Perhaps Navarro can help us look for some. Getting away from her colleagues is a good start.

Re: Mike Schur:

a) The fact that Twitter is not *your* biggest problem, does not mean it is not *a* problem. You do your thing, I'll do mine.

b) This is an issue over which reasonable people may disagree, but I liked "The Good Place," and did not find it to be finger-wagging much at all.

"Schroedinger's pandemic"

I'm going to steal that one.

"Libs hate greed. That’s why they want all your money."

Dammit, you're on FIRE!

I'm getting this feeling ... like all of this has happened before...

Mother Jones...Mother Jones...wasn't there some issue with "irresponsible" journalism associated with them?
