I guess that my biggest surprise and disappointment of the 21st century is how little impact YouTube and like platforms are having on calling politicians to account.
I mean, they stand in front of you and say, "Evil is good; good is evil." And you have them on a ten-year-old campaign video saying, "Evil is bad and I'm against it."
I discovered Banshee at the start of the pandemic and it is a wild ride. I recommended it to my brother and he called me to tell me he couldn't believe I recommended something that was kind of "porny". He watched the whole series though and yes I'm an old fart.
I miss the old style liberals. In a lot of areas I am one. But the new breed of leftists aren’t liberals. They seem a lot more like fascists to me.
