I'm pretty sure "our society" is doomed anyway. AI will just hasten the process. What comes after will be a new society, and probably one that most of us who aren't sheep of one kind or another will not like at all.
At age 77, I'm not likely to be around to enjoy it for its fullness. Meanwhile I'm trying to enjoy what I have, while I can, and prepare my kids and grandchildren to handle it as best they can.
I have a lovely wife of 30+ years, a nice home, good kids, a 14-year-old granddaughter who appears to be a superb softball player at catcher, intelligent and inquisitive grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren that I rarely get to see.
But I don't expect that to last, exactly. Whatever is coming is going to be pretty awful. I think, and I'm preparing for that as best I can.

Strangely enough I watched Kill the Irishman with Ray Stevenson last night. Very good movie with a lot of #9 song happening in it.
