Biology is hate speech, and now we have proof.
Look at this tweet from the Babylon Bee, which is sort of like The Onion for people who didn’t vote for Biden:
This isn’t so much a joke as a fact, because Richard Levine is a man whose career flourished when he decided he wanted everybody to call him a woman. Levine was just named one of USA Today’s “Women of the Year,” so the Bee made fun of them for it. That’s what satirists do.
Now look at this tweet from Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon:
That’s right: A humor website just got suspended from Twitter for stating a fact about the genetic makeup of a transgender person. Remembering biology class is “hateful conduct” that “promotes violence.”
Where’s the violence, you ask? Here’s your answer, and it’s the only one you’re getting:
Shut up.
Don’t bother asking which rule the Babylon Bee broke, because it’s not about rules. Libs only care about their own rules when they want to silence someone.
At the same time, libs are leaping to defend Will Thomas, a young man who recently changed his name to Lia and started beating girls at college swimming. I don’t want to say the Patriarchy always wins, but after decades of pitched battle in the culture wars, we’ve finally figured out how to trick feminists into defending men.
White males are bad, right up until the nanosecond they decide they’re not actually males.
Richard Levine and Will Thomas are trailblazers for men’s rights. Finally, white dudes can do whatever they want without getting cancelled. All they need to do is grow out their hair and scratch out their old names.
Kudos, gentlemen!
Do you make less than $300,000 a year? Sure, we all do! It’s not much fun being a peasant, but that doesn’t mean we’re beneath Michael Bloomberg’s notice. The 5’7” billionaire has his own pet news outlet, and they’ve got some handy tips for surviving the Biden administration:
These are all great ideas, especially the part about lentils. Mmmmm, lentils! Who said this wouldn’t be fun?
Here are a few other things you can do to survive as prices skyrocket, you stupid rednecks:
✔️Learn to pole dance
✔️Buy or steal an RV and get cookin’
✔️Try candles instead of electricity
✔️Does Grandma really need a funeral?
✔️Two can be cremated as cheaply as one
✔️You’re not selling your baby, you’re giving it a future
✔️You only need one of those kidneys, y’know
✔️Eat your cricketburger and like it, hillbilly
Here’s wishing Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas a speedy recovery. He’s been hospitalized with flulike symptoms, and let’s hope it’s nothing serious.
And I won’t say what I want to say to the racist liberals who wish him dead.
If they were honest with themselves, this would be their headline:
WHITE PEOPLE HOPE BLACK MAN DIES
And then they turn right around and call you a racist for any possible question or criticism about Ketanji Brown Jackson. They don’t care about black people. They only care about grabbing power and holding onto it no matter what.
Yeah, what’s up with white senators attacking black Supreme Court nominees?
As an almost-lifelong Hoosier, I pride myself in my lack of knowledge of Ohio.1 So I don’t really know what’s going on here:
I’d compare this to pro wrestling, but that would be an insult.
To wrestlers.
Have a great Monday, and thank you for trusting me. Your subscription means a lot.
Here’s a question for the commenters: Did today’s newsletter feel any less substantive than my usual lack of substance? When I started out, I tried to hit a minimum of 1,500 words a day. Which I just couldn’t manage, day in and day out. Lately I’ve been striving for between 1,000-1,500. Today’s edition comes in slightly under that, including this paragraph. So I’m kicking myself for not meeting my own arbitrary quota, but I don’t know if anybody would’ve even noticed if I hadn’t said anything.
Did you?
I don’t care about college sports, or any other sports. I’m talking about the state as a whole, which looks like a child tried to draw a square. No thank you.
When it comes to your writing, more is better. That's because even when what you are writing is about what makes me mad or I don't agree with you (so you are wrong of course), it usually comes across as witty and amusing which helps the medicine go down.
I didn't really notice today's post as being shorter, until you mentioned it. That may be partially due to all the embeds - not saying they should be left out, but they fill out content that you didn't have to write but I'm still reading.
I like the daily content, but for me I don't care if it's 750 or 1500 words, as long as it keeps coming. I get a lot of news / editorial / substack content every day, and this is the only one I always read, and usually as soon as I'm notified it's arrived.
If my boss is reading this, I just said that to make Jim feel better. Of course, I wait until the appropriate break / personal time to read this!
Be of good cheer! Your writing is the best thing I read all week. Whatever you put out I will devour it. Thanks for being a beacon of hope amid a world of increasing darkness.
