It always struck me as strange that so many people donated to (B)uys (L)arge (M)ansions when there are so many much more worthy African-American community based charities that existed already... like, how many kids could UNCF have sent to college with that money instead? Lots.
Who gets the most media coverage gets the most donated money. Media coverage not dependent on activities of "non-profit" but rather of how much it's existence supports the Left Narrative.
It could have been an absolute disaster. I'm happy they didn't try to do a second season, because that would have been a realization of our worst fears.
Watchmen had a perfect ending. But that's not how superhero comics work, so eventually DC brought it back with lesser talents. The HBO show was better than any of the comics sequels and prequels, but like Moore, I'd still prefer they'd left it alone.

I thought the HBO Watchmen mini series was good. Moore is beyond repair at this point.
I didn't hate it, and I expected to. It was a big swing, and it almost worked.
