The great thing about your DALL-E posts are the parameters you feed it. I almost don't need to see the results. "Nicholas Cage New Yorker Cartoon" My brain has already pumped out a dozen panels.
For a while I was obsessed with 'https://thispersondoesnotexist.com/' repeatedly refreshing the page to see if I could spot the flaws in the good renderings and being creeped out when they looked like the Lizard People's skinsuits were starting to peel and tear.
These Jan. 6th hearings should be a warning to Republicans... not because they are in danger of having anything happen to them, but because I think it highlights how little appetite for committee hearing grandstanding the public has. When the GOP regains power next year they need to choose between trying to govern and score-settling. If they choose score settling, I do not expect that 2024 will be quite the election the GOP hopes it will be. If they try to govern, and actually accomplish thing with the help of or in spite of the Biden admin, they'll be rewarded electorally in 2024.
I don't think very many people care about all the DC machinations. If they're free and prosperous and healthy and have confidence that the future will be similar, they'll not care too much.
All the rest is just theater and setups for graft.
I wish I had just 10% of what is going on in your brain when you're thinking up those DALL-E posts. LOVED the Harambe on Match Game, but the one with Gene Rayburn one...
Also, the site is always saying "too much traffic" when I try to create an image, so if you are able to get on can you do "Paul Lynde and Dolly Parton playing volleyball" for me?
To be fair, the first half of season 1 is pretty slow; there's a lot of worldbuilding and character building. (I'd stick around just for Shoreh Agadashloo; she's uniformly excellent.) It ramps up *considerably* in the last half, and seasons 2 & 3 are excellent.
How about the October 2018 Capital "occupation" when privileged, entitled lefties stormed past the Capital Police and took over the Senate floor to stop the confirmation vote on Kavanaugh? None of them were charged with sedition - in fact, they were being bailed out of jail by the future vice president.
How is storming the Senate to stop a confirmation vote different from storming the Senate to stop a vote to confirm the Electoral College?
But CNN, CBS, NYT, WaPo, all gave glowing coverage to the "occupation" (their word, not mine), and kept reminding us over and over that "This is what democracy looks like."
So after being told that THAT is the method by which political change is stymied, when the non-elite, non-entitled working class types tried the exact same thing, all of a sudden it was an insurrection?
When the Democrats want to hold hearings on the October 2018 riot at the Senate, maybe I'll pay attention. More likely, I'll be long dead ...

I, for one, welcome our Reptilian Overlords.
Dude you really are great with consistent content.
Juddered. Had to look that one up. That’s enough learnin’ for today!

This is a super good point.

Oh, man, do I really have to watch a terrible movie with Jared Leto just so I can be in on all the jokes? Guess it’s sacrifice time.
That app is super creepy and hilarious- the best combo possible.
Nobody has seen the movie, they just like saying "It's Morbin' Time"
Oh thank Harambe. See, this is why I pay the big bucks for your stack- you care about the reader.
He seems to really care. About what I have no idea.
Was that Rodney and Sam Kinison?
Yaaaas!
First Draft even had -- Prof (Sam Kinison): ... Thornton Mellon (Rodney Dangerfield): "... have no idea." Editor took it out.
I actually saw that version where RD says that!
Look, "Requiem for a Dream" isn't that bad a movie

I can see a cartoonish Gene face in the first panel.

OMG you are the best - I think we need to do this as a regular feature where you take requests from readers...
A Weekly Contest: which reader suggest the prompt that leads to the best cartoon.
Or we can have categories like "Creepiest." Right now that Dolly and Paul Linde Volleyball thing is way out in the lead.
The Loni Anderson Bruce Lee battle was priceless.
"A crude approximation of reality, farted out mindlessly by one of the machine intelligences that will eventually destroy us all."
Skynet smiles
For sci-fi unruined by disney and not star trek, try "the expanse."
I've tried to get through the pilot 3 or 4 times. Just can't do it.

When are you doing your DALL-E stuff? Everytime I try -- morning, noon or night -- it's always busy. Always.
