I’m too scatterbrained right now to focus on any one thing. But here are a a few of the things annoying me today…
Hey, guess what? You were right all along, and the people who claimed to care about “misinformation” were lying to you.
Again.
Remember when our moral, ethical, and intellectual betters in the press tried to convince us it was racist to blame the pandemic on a leak from a highly advanced biolab? According to them, it was actually less racist to blame a bunch of ignorant savages eating filthy vermin like bats and pangolins. They made us google “pangolins” rather than admit one of America’s enemies might’ve screwed up. That’s because the Chinese Communist Party owns most of the American press now.
Then they wonder why we don’t trust them. They can’t figure out why we laugh when they get laid off. If they want to get back on our good side, they should stop lying.
Oh, Joe Biden is doing just fine. Why do you ask?
No, seriously, he’s completely fit for duty. Tip-top shape. Nothing to worry about.
This is the president of the United States. Everything is normal. You are getting very sleepy…
So Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot lost her reelection bid, and it’ll go to a runoff next month. That’s pretty funny, although it sounds like the front-runner is an even bigger commie than she is.
Still, they can’t take our memories:
How could the people of Chicago do this to her? What a bunch of racist, misogynist homophobes!
What has two thumbs and is glad not to live in that socialist hellhole?
I’m old enough to remember “norms.” The journos were very very concerned about the Republicans destroying all our “norms.” But you’ll be happy to know this rule doesn’t apply to the good guys:
What’s the big deal about trying to coerce the Supreme Court into ruling your way on a blatantly unconstitutional cash-grab? Why not keep stomping all over that norm? It’s not as if anybody tried to assassinate Brett Kavanaugh already.
The Dems know they’re in the wrong:
They all know it. They know you know it. But they’ll pretend they don’t know it, because they’d rather look stupid than just take the L. If they had any dignity, they wouldn’t be Dems.
And finally, your feel-good story of the day:
Oh no, not the diversity officers. Now who will get paid to make sure everything is sufficiently diverse, which it never can be? Can’t trust those pale folks, y’know. White supremacy is everywhere!
Happy Hump Day and a merry March to you.
Just so you know, in the next few weeks there are going to be some changes to this newsletter. I can’t get into the specifics yet, because I’m still working it out for myself. I can’t even tell you why things are changing. Yet. But once I can, I’ll try to be as transparent about it as legally allowed.
If I seem even more distracted than usual, that’s why. I’m thinkin’ ‘bout lots of stuff I haven’t had to think ‘bout before, and my brain isn’t used to the exercise. It’s a good kind of stress, but it’s still stress. Please bear with me.
Happy OFFICIAL first day of spring, per the National Weather Service. That whole solstice/equinox bullshit never made any sense: June 21 is MID-summer's Day, not FIRST-summer's day.
Anyway.
I'm confused. The people of Chicago are racist and sexist because they wouldn't vote for Lori Lightfoot. What race and gender was she when she was elected four years ago?
I know: shut up, bigot.
Treach must have gotten a job at Daily Wire for a fraction of the money they were going to pay Stephen Crowder. Still, though that would be a great value add!
You'd think that if absolving borrowers of their loans was something as popular as the Dems claim it is, they could have passed a law or something over the last two years. If it was really that popular, make the GOP filibuster it or something, but do it the right way. What a bunch of babies.
