Researchers Say "Long COVID" Isn't Actually a Thing

As far as I know, I’ve never gotten COVID-19. In fact, for the past three years I’ve been healthier than ever.1 I used to get colds and whatnot damn near every year, but now I can’t even remember the last time I got sick.
And yes, I’m vaccinated. Haven’t had any apparent side effects from that either. None of the talking points on either side have applied to me so far. Knock on wood!
But some folks are still clinging to the virus. They’ve shaped their whole identity around it. The thought of certain death gives them something to live for, I guess? Hell, who knows why people do the things they do. If I knew, I wouldn’t have anything left to write about.
Now there’s some bad news for the people who love bad news…
