"None of this public criminality is persuading anyone about anything, because it’s not intended to. It’s just cosplay for people devoid of any meaning in their lives."

In other words, "get a real cause".

It's not "just cosplay" ..... there are some real fascists involved in all of this and they are using the useful idiots.

For many of them, they have at least some resources, no job, are deficient in some way, and want attention. Those are being used by real fascists as eventual cannon fodder. They are the ones who begged to be hall monitors. They remind me on nothing so much as Homer Simpson when he got the crossing guard job.

Maurer's work just reminds me that the Obama bootlickers are also a cult. And if you used Trump's awfulness as a reason to vote for Biden's awfulness PLUS corruption, then you're worse than most of the Trump cult.

It's a shame that or actual choice may be between Trump and Biden. I suppose it could be worse. Biden could drop out and be replaced by Harris or Michelle Obama.

Sadly, I think Iowa will be a make or break moment for DeSantis. If he he gets second, it has to be a close second, but if he can't get any traction in a place were the local establishment endorses him and where his message has had a chance to to work it's way through the electorate, I'm not sure that he has a path much more forward. I am not a Nikki Haley fan because she's not going to get the nomination, and she knows that. She's running for VP and the only use that she serves is to divide the Trump alternative vote. There is nothing about her record that is more conservative than DeSantis and there is nothing about her as a candidate that appeals to the populists wing of the party. The sad thing is that she will probably do really well in NH and her home state, but nowhere else - yet because those primaries are next, it really hurts DeSantis by default. Whatever happens, we deserve it.

How are these people not charged with false imprisonment? Why do they think they have the right to trap people and keep them from moving on with their lives? This isn't hyperbole but an honest question.

I agree with virtually 99% of what you wrote. Have all these pro-Palestinian people been keeping the lowest profile on the planet until Oct 7th & THEN decided that now is the time to start to make violent trouble all over the world?? Could there, is there one organization/person/govt that has the capacity to coordinate these people at the same time? Or were millions all over the world just going about their daily lives - grocery, church, going out to eat - with that much hate in their hearts for the Jewish people to drop everything to grab a flag, run into the streets and blocking traffic?

I think they've been primed, for sure, and some may well be paid. But if you have spent as much time as I have around, especially, holier-than-thou ideological protestor groups, then you'd know that once they've 'joined' the cult all anyone has to do is tell "Sic-em!!" and they charge out. They need little to no coordination.

Thankfully I have not. Another element of this is that ppl have way too much time on their hands. Those who are out working or taking care of family etc are too busy to wave a flag around in a reflective vest.

I am really over protesters entirely, since essentially 100% of them have no skin in the game. They don't have jobs; don't pay taxes; don't produce or manage anything productive; don't want anyone else to (have to) work or produce, and do not connect either of those two things to 'public' funds i.e. extracted taxes. It's all free money from the magic tree for them. I have, I must say, lost my patience with retards. And people who do not understand basic math are retards.

When I was a kid I remember the idea of going to jail for one's convictions; now the fauxple demand we kowtow to the most superficial thoughts no one has ever thought through. I'm not at all optimistic about where we go from here, but gaslight cults cannot beat physics and biology in the long run. I guess we'll see who's still standing to count the costs.
