"Go **** yourself!" should be the defining quote of the war.

We actually shared intel with China? And they rebuffed us and shared it with Russia?! Our Potemkin President continues on. We can't keep on with him and his dementia.

I'll bet none of your readers knew this about Putin:

There should be a special observance for 180 days being left in Afghanistan...

Have a great weekend...

Already seeing lot's of vids of Russians casually committing war crimes: missle-ing civilian neighborhoods, running tanks over fleeing vehicles with the people still inside. Surprised that sunflower lady wasn't just shot dead by the guy she was talking to, he must have been one of the few with a conscience strong enough to override an urge to blithely brutalize an old lady. I hope this goes south on the Russians and it scars their collective psyche for generations.

And just to reiterate, not trusting the media does not mean we love Putin, no matter what election year nonsense the left wants to push.

SHIRS is also an acceptable wordle meaning something stupid in British english slang that isn't even in the OED. NYT will have flash-in-the-pan Urban Dictionary lingo added to its web-scraping of all existing scrabble dictionaries soon enough so that any random five letters may end up as the word of the day. I'm switching to the German version if this continues. But then maybe that's just what they want...

I'm a secret Wordle addict, in that I hate everyone's tweets but I never miss a day. What is everyone's first Wordle guess? Mine is AUDIO.

Fuck the Democrats and idiots in our State Dept. for enabling Putin. That is exactly what our foreign policy and the “green agenda” the leftists push have done. Asshole Putin has plenty of leverage because of the insane energy policies being pushed by the left. Guess what assholes do with leverage?

Any CS Lewis fans around? We have deeply unserious people running everything, and too many of the rest of the people either oblivious or kowtowing to literally insane ideas (internally contradictory beliefs also contrary to empirical reality, history, and human nature). The way this war is shaping up -- so far -- directly violates all of the ephemera running rampant up to and through two solid years of leveraging coviphobia against every freedom imaginable, and then some.

Screwtape: "[T]he undisguisable issue of cowardice or courage awakes thousands of men from moral stupor. This, indeed, is probably one of the Enemy's motives for creating a dangerous world—a world in which moral issues really come to the point. He sees as well as you do that courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point, which means, at the point of highest reality. A chastity or honesty, or mercy, which yields to danger will be chaste or honest or merciful only on conditions. Pilate was merciful till it became risky."

Another fun read. Only problem I see with it is that Chernobyl is in Ukraine!!! I don’t think you’re advocating to light up Ukraine like a nuclear campfire. But I knew what you meant. I considered it just a free extra laugh!

I didn't say otherwise.

Implied? I know you’re joshing here, which I enjoy even more.

As a paid member, I have the right to be critical, but instead I choose to be supportive because you are worth it! And also for the fact that I don’t really have anything to be critical of (except for me ending this sentence with a preposition and now trying to obfuscate that fact).

Are we two peas in a pod? Probably not: you’ve figured out how to monetize your mental mendacity and general cleverness while I toil in obscurity and resort to commenting for free on a substack space where the author constantly begs for money, no matter how funny, yet still makes more than I will ever make on any part of the internet. And, I applaud you for all of it, my friend! Your daily posts elevate the spirits of all who read them, and that in itself is one dang good legacy! Life can be a lot worse than that, even if your heater is out. Now I have to get back to stringing beads for my new Etsy site (or maybe not).

I didn't go back to re-read, but I'm pretty sure he said make Chernobyl look like a night light (i.e. a dim light) in comparison to the new "bright light" that Moscow would become. In other words, nuke Moscow (not Chernobyl).
