Remember when Jimmy Kimmel was a racist and a sexist? So does he, and he’s really sorry about that. Now he’s making up for lost time and going #wokeAF.
You know who really needs his help right now? Vice Victim Kamala Harris:
“Kamala Harris has an approval rating of 28%, which makes no sense because she basically has nothing to do. It’s like criticizing a backup quarterback… I think I know why Kamala’s ratings are low. Besides sexism and racism, which are the obvious ones…”
Kimmel even made a Dick Cheney joke. In case you don’t have a calendar handy, this is 2021, not 2006.
Kimmel wouldn’t know this, because he never reads anything that’s not written down on his teleprompter by various Democratic Party operatives, but Kamala Harris has been given lots of stuff to do. Biden put her in charge of the border, for one thing. So far that’s working out terrifically. And she’s also in charge of making sure NASA solves… climate change? Okay, sure, why not.
That’s why she made that weird, creepy NASA video, which turned out to be filled with child actors pretending to enjoy her company:
It’s true that Harris has done very little in the last 10 months, but not because she hasn’t been given anything to do. She just hasn’t done it. And every time she goes in front of a camera, she creeps everybody out.
Kamala Harris is unpopular, but not because America is racist or sexist. If that were the case, she wouldn’t be in that office at all. Biden picked her because she’s a woman of color, and nobody really believes otherwise.
No, Kamala Harris is unpopular for the simple reason that she stinks. There are plenty of other women of color in American politics who could do a better job, but Jimmy Kimmel and his comrades hate those women because they’re Republicans.
I refuse to be scolded about racism and sexism by this clown:
At least back then, Kimmel was kind of funny. Now he’s getting beaten in the ratings by Greg Gutfeld. Who is on cable! Get woke and go broke, ABC.
Worried about rampant inflation? Don’t be. Broken Joe has got it covered!
“Going forward, it is important that Congress pass my Build Back Better plan, which is fully paid for and does not add to the debt, and will get more Americans working by reducing the cost of child care and elder care, and help directly lower costs for American families by blah blah blah blah blah…”
Would you believe that the solution to this problem is to give Joe Biden what he wanted all along? What a miraculous coincidence. Whew!
Congratulations to disgraced newsman Brian Williams for leaving the National Broadcasting Company on his own terms, instead of getting thrown out on his ass in 2015 like he should’ve been. Of course, that’s assuming Williams is telling the truth about leaving, which is never a sure bet.
The hagiography is already starting:
“Told the news straight.” LOL!
I’ll never understand why libs venerate these scumbags. A decade before Williams’ lies were exposed, Dan Rather destroyed his career over some fake documents he believed would throw an election for the Democrats. And a lot of libs still take Rather seriously. Just keep telling the rubes what they want to hear, and they’ll kiss your ass till the day you die.
Every piece of evidence in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial has only bolstered his case for self-defense. Here’s yet another one:
Joseph Rosenbaum wasn’t just minding his own business. He was chasing Rittenhouse. And keep in mind, this is after Rosenbaum had already threatened to kill Rittenhouse. For whatever reason, he thought it was a good idea to chase an armed man around a parking lot. If he had left Rittenhouse alone, this wouldn’t have happened. If they’d all left him alone, none of it would’ve happened. They instigated this, and Rittenhouse defended himself from his attackers.
But those guys were rioting in the name of BLM, so the media insists they’re martyrs. They would’ve preferred that Rittenhouse had been killed that night. That would’ve served him right, in their eyes.
And they’ll just keep lying:
Rosenbaum threatened to kill Rittenhouse and was chasing him around a parking lot, but sure, he “wasn’t a threat.” Great journalism, you hacks.
I’ve been bummed about Dean Stockwell’s death, so yesterday I looked him up on IMDb to find some stuff of his to watch. His final role was in a 2015 movie called Entertainment, which has been on my watchlist for a while because it stars Gregg Turkington, AKA renowned/reviled anti-comedian Neil Hamburger.1
Here’s the trailer:
I finally watched it, and it’s a very strange little movie. A meandering, episodic, basically plotless story about an intentionally awful comedian losing his mind on the road as he performs at a bunch of dive bars and house parties in crappy Southern California desert towns. It’s a bitter, depressing indictment of the very concept of… entertainment.
If that doesn’t sound like your cup of hilarity, most of the exciting stuff was in the trailer anyway. And Stockwell is only in the movie at the very end and doesn’t even have any lines, so that’s disappointing.
But if you like Neil Hamburger, or Turkington’s mordantly passive-aggressive On Cinema character, or John C. Reilly, or just weird $#!+ in general, you might like this movie. I kinda did, but then, I like a lot of stuff nobody else seems to like. Well, it’s on Amazon Prime if you’re curious.
I had forgotten that Dean Stockwell was on the rebooted Battlestar Galactica about 15 years ago. He played a crazy Cylon model who hated humanity and wanted to wipe everybody out. Even the other Cylons thought he was an extremist. Basically Space Hitler. Maybe I’ll have to rewatch some of those episodes. I think I pushed that whole show out of my mind after that godawful finale…
Happy Wednesday, and thanks for reading my AD-FREE newsletter. If you enjoy my meanderings but you haven’t subscribed yet, please do that right now so I can keep writing this for you every day. It’s only $5/month or $50/year, and it’s the only money I’m making from this thing.
Neil Hamburger is sort of like Hannah Gadsby, in that they both use the format of stand-up comedy to reject the conventions of stand-up comedy. But unlike Gadsby, Hamburger actually makes me laugh.
I love how Stelter has Rather on thinking that Dan helps bolster the seriousness and sanctity of journalism.
Kimmel was funny back in The Man Show days. I also admit to watching the whole girls on trampolines video. *shrug* Sue me.
Do these morons really believe that _we believe_ that spending $1T will cost nothing? Maybe I'm asking the wrong question. Better question might be, are there people who really believe it? (probably)
OR is it okay to tax the ever-living $#!+ out of everyone just to get a few goodies to the Favored Voter in Grift as long as it's for *checks notes* re-election? (of course it is)
Kamala is the embodiment of Identity Politics. The DEMS didn't vote for her. Zero delegates because she never made it to 2020. Yet there's always someone out there on the Left who will virtue signal by accusing others (even fellow Democrats!) as "racist". She was and is poor: as a candidate, as VP. No original thoughts, no intellectual agility and she has a crummy French accent.
Brian Williams proves karmic justice is sometimes lacking.
The press coverage of the Rittenhouse trial has not been truthful. This is a dumpster fire of a prosecution. The ADA just today, commented on R's post-Miranda silence! The judge knew the weasel ADA was looking to provoke a mistrial and the judge didn't bite. Yet there is case law that if the mistrial is due to prosecutorial misconduct, the mistrial results in a dismissal is with prejudice, meaning no retrial. Oh, and the first person shot and killed--Rosenbaum--had his hand either on the barrel of Rittenhouse's gun or within 12", per the STATE'S Coroner. The only worry is jury intimidation. I highly recommend the video excerpts from Legal Insurrection. Chirafisi's Cross of Gaige Grosskreutz was magnificent.
