Being locked out of access to content you paid for sounds like grounds for a fun lawsuit to me! Think of the comedy material you might unearth in discovery. Time to get in touch with fellow sub stacker Matt Taibbi - he did great work on the twitter files, pissed off Musk, and is almost as funny as you are. Go for it!

Colbert is probably going to start a Substack like every other failed journo.

Colbert doesn't claim to be a journalist, I don't think - he's a comedian and TV talk show host.

He claims he's a comedian, and that doesn't check out either.

I would hate to think Elon has the secret handshake with the YouTube guys to shut you out, but that certainly appears to be the case!

This must be frustrating. You can watch episodes of the show you write for on Rumble.

I watch the show you write for on Rumble. Sometimes things get cut, but usually I can find the whole episode. But it’s next day.

Most all the big info/data orgs use the same Byzantine, Kafkaesque techniques to shut you down.

I got essentially that same message some years ago when FB banned me for life. No earlier warnings, just telling me due to repeated violations of TOS, and Community Standards and such I was banned.

I appealed and never got word one in response. I tend to think it was because I was reporting routine statistical analysis of every days Covid stats. I went from maybe 50 friends to over 1000 in about 6 months, then the hammer dropped.

For the record, I have disliked YouTube since it was no longer an independent entity.

I will miss Week Sauce. It was always one of the high points of the weekend.

Keep protesting about this! Loud, detailed and with associated consequences to you.

To get to me - they have to get through you. And I appreciate you're repeated, evidence-based examples of their abuse.

We know it works! Just look at the State Department! 😊

I've been looking for a reason to stop wasting my evenings on You Tube. Protesting this is as good as any. Thanks!

I'd never heard of Shane Gillis -- I thought he was a country and western singer? And I don't follow any sports other than baseball. But damn, that routine was hilarious!

Sorry about your YouTube, it's all Calvinball, but that doesn't make it right. Also, late night shows have been dying a slow death, but it was inevitable. It's a relic from.previous time before streaming and in demand television.

Love that being locked out because you were warned (which you weren't) multiple times. Sigh

Anybody else remember when Colbert called Trump a "cockholster" on his show?

Why is it that woke allies still turn to homosexuality references when they want to make the worst possible insult to people they despise?

I noticed the same thing when Troon activists say a woman looks like a man. Huh. Ain’t that something? I take it as them not believing their own dogma. But what do I know! I’m just a dumb bike riding duck who’s had too many concussions.

You might try using Rumble for posting your own videos - they're the Substack of video hosting - absolutely committed to free speech.
