On Peacemaker, it was nice that he did decide he'd rather keep his friends instead of sacrificing them on the altar of Gaia worship. I'll let that one issue slide since the rest of the show was free of preaching. I have the same issue with shows that feel the need to comment on any current politics. They don't age well and they really aren't a good fit for anything that might be viewed outside it's original airing date.

Yay! and thanks for the Mojo Nixon shout-out. A more prescient song from his way-back machine is "I Hate Banks." For all the reasons Justin don't!

In general, I am with you on Biden's cognitive decline. It is genuinely terrifying. But I do not see this as an example. He was mouthing the usual platitudes, and simply decided to cut to the chase. There was no stumbling, no rambling, no incoherence.

Politicians live by speaking, constantly, in public. They occasionally trip up. Minor mistakes are no big deal. (I lived through 8 years of "Bushism of the Day." This doesn't even rise to the level of Bidenism of the Day.) Presenting something innocuous as this as evidence that Joe's Going Senile, simply waters down the real evidence, which is copious.

Keep up the good work.

Good week of work.

Did my part by hitting the tip jar.

Two things:

1) I once saw a bumper sticker during the Clinton admin---"I miss Ron and Nancy; hell, I miss Jimmy and Rosalyn!"

2) I remember thinking "Jimmy must be glad we elected Obama; everyone will recall him fondly." Now, I think Obama laughs himself to sleep at night, since Joe is making us all forget how bad we thought Obama was!

I would play that Mojo Nixon song when my kids were little. When he was about 12, my youngest son told me he had thought "Elvis" was God's name!
