Sounds like your Internet service is the BLM of service providers: you pay them and you get nothing to show for it!

Like Will Rogers said, "Thank goodness we don't get all the government we pay for."

Thanks for the Macdonald-Gottfried clip. It sucks that they are gone, but that's where we all end up. At least I can watch these segments and still see and hear and laugh.

I bet if all those well-meaning, white-guilt ridden liberals who donated to "BLM" knew it stood for "Buys Large Mansions", they would have done something locally for their communities instead. They could donate (or volunteer at) a homeless shelter, mentor ask-risk youth, help paint/repair a run-down neighborhood, or support serious criminal justice/law enforcement reform groups like "The innocence Project", but that would mean actually doing something meaningful instead of easy virtue signaling. I guess you get what you pay for, and as long as there is demand for meaningless virtue signaling, there will be grifters willing to supply that.

I apologize for being an old white guy who voted for Trump and NOT being the subway shooter.

I won't do any better next time either so, like, sorry in advance.

The Cuomos are exactly who we thought they were. And CNN is about to pay Chris millions more than even CNN+ is worth. Chris Wallace deserves that place.

For years, the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit system touted that its passengers were "protected" by surveillance cameras in each train car. Then a lunatic killed a passenger on one of the cars... and BART had to admit that damn near all of their surveillance cameras were non-functioning dummy units meant to deter by appearance only. They didn't have footage of the crime. The scandal forced the BART board to order installation of real cameras and a monitoring center.

I am just waiting for the emergence of subway vigilante shooters who protect themselves and their fellow straphangers from predators. At this point, the public reaction would likely be more Death Wish (making the vigilantes folk heroes) than Bernard Goetz (painting them as paranoid racists).

That clip of Gilbert and Norm was insane. There is absolutely NO COMIC working today under the age of 40 who would go there. NOT ONE.

And it was damn funny. I laughed like a man who hasn't paid his taxes yet this year.

Wait... I haven't paid my taxes yet. Shit.

The media will never take ownership of their responsibility for events like the subway shooting here in New York. Their relentless proclamations that the twin white whales of White Supremacy and Institutional Racism are the driving force behind everything from the Declaration of Independence to the price of jelly beans feed the evil genies hiding in minds on the edge.

I am here for stuff like this:

“The moral of the story: Go ahead say whatever you want while you still can. You’ll have to deal with stupid, intolerant people who want to ruin your life for it, but the ultimate cancellation is death.“

Thank you.

You are so right about the guy who drove the SUV into a parade of people - "Remember when that maniac in an SUV plowed down a bunch of old ladies and children at a Christmas parade in Wisconsin last year? It might as well have been 100 years ago." - I totally forgot about that!!!
