Who is the audience for Jake Tapper’s new book, Original Sin? Apparently, there isn’t one.
Republicans are mad at Tapper for pretending he had nothing to do with the cover-up of Joe Biden’s senility.1 Democrats are mad at him for admitting there was a cover-up of Joe Biden’s senility. He’s taking a drubbing from pretty much everybody.
Tee-hee!
Maybe that’s why his dumb book sold a mere 53,737 copies in its first week. Is that despite Tapper’s endless media tour promoting the book, or because of it? Is everybody else as sick of that insufferable bonehead as I am?
Well, even if his book is a flop, at least he’s still a big hit on cable news, right?

CNN host Jake Tapper had his lowest-rated month in nearly a decade in May despite a whirlwind publicity tour giving him an onslaught of attention…
"The Lead with Jake Tapper" averaged 525,000 total viewers from April 28 through May 25, shedding 25% of CNN’s audience in its timeslot from the same period last year in the process…
It was Tapper’s lowest-rated month since August 2015.
Ouch! His ratings are back down to pre-Trump levels.

Except in Tapper’s case, the misery is entirely self-inflicted. He spent years winding up the kick, and now he’s landed it square in his own scrotum.
And his testicular torment couldn’t be more deserved. His book is an obvious attempt to inoculate himself and his equally dishonest media peers from criticism.
“Hey, the White House lied to us too, guys! We’re the victims here!”
Yeah, right. We all watched that confused old man stumble around for four years like Tim Conway on The Carol Burnett Show. You knew, and you lied about it as long as you could. You’re not fooling anybody, you mendacious penis.
Tapper keeps saying he feels “humility” about “missing the story,” which is just diversionary jargon he got from that crisis PR consultant he hired.
He didn’t miss the story, he tried to bury it. And if he truly felt any humility about failing to do his one and only job, he’d go away and stop pimping this stupid book. He’d stop trying to sell us the very same truths he dismissed when he thought they’d hurt the Democrats.
The humiliation of Jake Tapper is fun, but also instructive. He proves that you can put on a suit that costs almost as much as your haircut, and you can deliver sentences into a camera like a TV anchorman in a movie, but it doesn’t make you a journalist. He’s a political activist and always has been. I’m just glad the rest of America finally sees what I’ve been saying all along.
But hey, maybe this experience will truly change Tapper. Maybe he’ll show some actual humility, instead of just using that word as a Get Out of Jail Free card.
And maybe monkeys will fly out of my butt.
I know you’re reading this, Jake, so look on the bright side: At least you’ve still got the mirror!
The FBI has released more pages from the journal of Audrey Hale, the “trans man” lunatic who murdered six people at a Nashville elementary school, including three children.
It’s not like we need more evidence that Hale was a murderous psycho whose mind was warped by gender ideology, but why did it take over two years to release this? Why wait until the story went away? Who or what is being protected?
These questions are, of course, rhetorical.
