It’s 2025 and the Democrats are out of power, yet Jews are still being harassed daily on American college campuses by idiots in keffiyehs.
The antisemitism at Columbia University has been so bad since 10/7, the Trump administration just cancelled $400 million in federal grants. That ought to gentle ‘em down some.
As for the students illegally preventing Jews from entering buildings, screaming at them in public, tearing down their hostage posters, and otherwise tormenting them, the perpetrators should be arrested at the very least. I’m also fine with kicking them out of school, and even out of the country if they’re not citizens. If you’re here with our permission, then it’s ours to rescind.

A prominent Palestinian activist who helped lead protests at Columbia University is facing deportation following his arrest by federal immigration agents over the weekend.
Mahmoud Khalil, who graduated from the university in December, was arrested Saturday by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. The Department of Homeland Security confirmed the arrest, saying it was a result of President Donald Trump’s executive orders prohibiting antisemitism.
It’s one thing to just hate Jews. Antisemitism sucks, but there’s no law against it. Khalil was actively promoting terrorism and infringing on other students’ rights in his zeal to attack Jews, though, so the U.S. is sending him back home.
Pay attention to the people who are angry about this today. Most of them work at mainstream media outlets, and they claim to hate Nazis. Hating Jews is different when their team does it.

Steaming pick: Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue on MGM+.
This six-episode series was originally developed for Quibi, which is the one COVID casualty nobody mourns. Somehow the show made its way onto our screens anyway. With a title like that, I just had to check it out.
It’s basically a cross between Lost and Agatha Christie’s Ten Little Indians, except one of the characters is a luchador and people say things like “libtard.” There’s a plane crash in a remote area, none of the survivors are quite what they seem, and someone or something is picking them off one by one.
Because of the nature of these types of shows, I assume not all nine bodies in the morgue belong to the main characters. There are only six episodes, so I don’t mind sticking around to find out.
This is a British series, with the Canary Islands filling in for Mexico and mostly British actors filling in for the Norte Americanos. Most of the American accents are okay, except for a married couple who are supposed to be MAGA-heads from Kansas. I don’t know where the hell their accents are supposed to be located, but it sure ain’t on this planet.
It’s probably not worth signing up for MGM+ just for this show, but if you’re already subscribing, there are worse things to watch on TV. And there always will be, as long as Meghan Markle walks the earth.
When I was growing up in Indiana, it was one of the only states that didn’t do Daylight Saving Time.1 The only reason I even knew about it as a kid was because for half the year, primetime network TV started at 7 PM instead of 8.
Which was just fine with me. Indiana was dumb to fall for this stupid idea 20 years ago. Whoever thought of this nonsense can save it where the daylight don’t shine.
Making everybody change their clocks makes less and less sense every year. When was the last time you watched a TV show live, anyway? Aren’t most people on flex time? Maybe not, but still.
Yeah, okay, so for a few months of the year, kids might have to get up and go to school before sunrise. So what? Toughens ‘em up, the little brats.
And yes, I’m just cranky that I’ve lost an hour and I’m already behind. It’s not my fault!
You can also call it Daylight Savings Time if you want. It really doesn’t matter, and you’ll annoy all the right people.

I hope Trump, the DoJ, the DoE, and whoever else can pile on, is preparing to hammer colleges that allow intimidation of Jewish students to happen. Jack them up with every tool available. Prosecut any and all federal crimes for sure. Cut their federal funds. Make them beg and apologize. Make it hurt a whole lot.
As for DST, I have a friend who grew up in a town on the Indiana/Ohio border back in the day. The local HS gymnasium was right on the boundary line. So on one half of the gym it might be 8PM and on the other 9PM. I asked him how the locals (on both sides) handled it. He said "They didn't handle it the just adapted and ignored it."
