Oh, Joe Biden is doing just fine. Why do you ask?
The look on Kamala’s face. She would never make it in professional poker.
I didn’t watch Biden’s first State of the Union address, because I’m tired of encouraging these people. Thomas Jefferson believed that a president giving a speech before Congress was too kinglike, so he just wrote down the necessary information in a letter to be read by a clerk. (That’s right, Tom invented “This meeting should’ve been an email.”) But then radio and TV came along, and eventually the internet, so now we’ve got all this ridiculous pageantry and peacockery and whatnot.
It’s always the same nonsense: The figurehead makes a majestic entrance and reads a bunch of caca del toro from a script. The side that’s in power enthusiastically cheers on every lie he tells, and the side that’s out of power glares at him like he’s a child molester.1 It’s just pro wrestling without the talent. It’s dumb and boring and I refuse to be a part of it.
But I do enjoy the resultant memes!
