I think Team Biden were trying too hard to create a success story so that, when he's a part of the 20th anniversary of 9/11 ceremony - and there surely will be one (Rudy and Joe on the same stage should be a hoot!) - there would be Good News about how the Afghanis have seen the light because Joe was such a foreign policy whiz.
He'll be most disappointed that his Big Guy 10% isn't coming through on this deal.
I live in Costa Rica, and only get Costa Rican version of Netflix. Doesn't matter, because in any event, I certainly don't like comic characters, buy mostly I simply don't care for extensive movie reviews. If curious about a movie, I would seek out a review.
FWIW - I regularly listen to David Samson's baseball podcast, but I skim past his movie reviews. His taste is not nearly close to mine, and, like you, he posts about movies that are inaccessible to me anyhow.
FWIW - I love movies, especially good dramas, plus the occasional SiFy ("District Nine" comes quickly to mind).
I rarely have any interest in watching, but I enjoy the synopses. It's a nice break from reality, especially right now.
Almost everyone has a limited range of viewing preferences. I honestly am not trying to irritate you (I know I might anyway) but if I want commentary on a wide range of genres I'll seek out a site dedicated to them. I like Jim because he says out loud a lot of things I think but keep to myself, and every now and then he makes me laugh. The movie/tv commentary is simply the cherry on top.
I appreciate that. I very much like and agree with his social and political commentaries. I am simply not a fan of his movie tastes. The occasional comment, sure, no problem, but if his content is heavy on films I care nothing about, I simply will not continue subscribing.

I didn't know you were a horror fan JT - what are some of your favorite horror books/films?
The usual. Near Dark is my favorite vampire movie.
I am not a fan of your movie, television, or streaming commentaries. Far too much space is devoted to your limited range of viewing preferences.

Bye.
Always appreciate a good 'Seinfeld' clip. Thanks.
Will check out 'Gareth' - sounds like it's right up my alley. Or as George might say, 'I know MY alleys. You got me off in the Galapagos Islands'
