Womanhood is precious, which is why anybody can become a woman just by saying so. It doesn’t matter which equipment you were born with. The only thing that matters is the words you choose. The minute you declare that your name is Caitlyn, not Bruce, and that you’re now a woman, not a man, you are legally and ethically and genetically female.

Apparently, it was known for about two years that William Thomas would eventually be swimming as Lia Thomas with the females…

“We did not hear a single thing from the athletic department until just a couple weeks ago. Not even for the last two years, when they knew it was going to happen. They’ve known for more than two years now,” the Penn swimmer told the Washington Examiner.
