Which Lessons Will the Dems Refuse to Learn This Time?
Hint: All of them
The great thing about being a Democrat is that you’re always right about everything, especially when you’re wrong.
Dems don’t need to learn from their mistakes, because they never make any. If something goes wrong, they can always fix it by pointing at somebody else. They’re the good guys, and everything they do is for a good reason, so the only way they can fail is if those racist, sexist, transphobic Republicans ruin it for them.
Case in point: The 2024 election.
The Dems and their media arm (ABC, NBC, CBS, NYT, WaPo, et al.) did everything right:
They ran 81-year-old Joe Biden, reassuring themselves that he’s the only person to ever beat Trump in an election.
They cleverly lied about Joe’s dementia, until Trump ruined their plans by not collapsing during the debate.
They threw out the old man like yesterday’s trash.
They nominated the one person most responsible for the coverup of Joe’s broken brain: a woman of color. Thereby making it both racist and sexist to oppose the Dems for any reason.
To ensure their success, they spent something like $1 billion in three months.
Yet somehow, Kamala Harris lost both the Electoral College and the popular vote.
Oh, and the Democrats have also lost control of the Senate. And quite possibly the House. It’s a MAGA wet dream.
Now it’s only a matter of figuring out why it’s not the Dems’ fault. Here are a few of the lessons they won’t allow themselves to learn…
