Joe Biden refuses to go away.
Maybe he’s broke, now that has no more influence to peddle. Maybe Jill is dragging him around on a leash for her own selfish reasons. Maybe Democrats are so angry and lost that they’ll cling to any reminder of a time when they were still in charge, even if it’s the guy who cost them all their power. Maybe all of the above.
There hasn’t been a time in my adult life when I’ve wanted to be a Democrat, and I certainly don’t envy them now.
If there’s a glimmer of hope for the party, it’s that some of them are as sick of this crap as normal people are.
