If you told me the prosecutors in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial had taken money under the table to throw the case and get him acquitted, I would believe you. It’s the only logical explanation. Those idiots have completely botched their case at every turn. Every witness they’ve brought to the stand has only confirmed that Rittenhouse acted in self-defense. Every argument they’ve made that he somehow brought this on himself has been paradoxical, if not outright insane. They’re a laughingstock across the country, with the exception of the newsrooms at CNN and MSNBC. The libs are desperately clinging to the hope that Rittenhouse is somehow guilty of murder, but everybody else wants to know what these prosecutors are smoking.

Yesterday we heard their closing arguments, and it was completely bonkers. Some lowlights:

In closing arguments at the murder trial of Kyle Rittenhouse, the prosecution accused the teenager of provoking the confrontation during last year's protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin reut.rs/30y8nMz

Kyle Rittenhouse provoked the confrontation by… running away. Instead of defending himself from the man who was chasing him after threatening to kill him, and then defending himself from his subsequent attackers after he fell to the pavement, he should’ve allowed those rioters to beat him and shoot him. He should’ve been maimed or killed that night. That’s the argument.

We also got a new definition of self-defense, tailor-made for people who got their law degrees on social media:
