As an old person who enjoys listening to rock music, the past decade hasn’t been easy.

Where do I even start?

Beyoncé. Taylor Swift. Rihanna. Lady Gaga. Justin Bieber. Justin Timberlake. Bruno Mars. Kendrick Lamar. Post Malone. Maroon 5. Lil Nas X. Billie Eilish. Ariana Grande. The Jonas Brothers. Dua Lipa. The Weeknd. Harry Styles. Benson Boone. Sabrina Carpenter.

For starters.

Many of today’s biggest pop acts are at least somewhat talented. A few of them have produced a song here and there that I don’t mind listening to. I don’t hate them, really. I just don’t care.

Because none of them rock. Give me rock. I want to listen to a band that rocks.
