President Biden Must Disarm the Secret Service Immediately
If he believes his own rhetoric on guns, that is
Guns are bad. Joe Biden said so. Why would he lie?
And for once, his administration isn’t backpedalling like mad after he makes a public statement:
At this point in Biden’s life, the only action he wants is an uneventful bowel movement.
But okay, let’s assume for the sake of argument that this is true. Biden wants some sort of action on guns? Then here’s what he needs to do:
Disarm the Secret Service.
Biden lives in the most heavily guarded building on the continent. Wherever he goes, whatever he does, he’s constantly surrounded by guns. Hell, there are snipers on the roof of the White House 24/7. Guns everywhere.
If more guns were indeed the solution, Biden would live in the safest house in the world. But he and his administration tell us that the opposite is true. More guns make people less safe, they insist.
Okay then, set an example for the rest of us. Prove the theory. No more guns in the White House. Keep the Secret Service, but take away their firearms. That way, Biden will be much safer.
Right?
If libs actually believe their own gun-control rhetoric, there should be no counterargument. Guns are intrinsically evil, so nobody should carry them anywhere near the president.
And that’s where the lie collapses on itself. Nobody is stupid or crazy enough to believe disarming the Secret Service would make the president more safe. Getting rid of his armed security would be tantamount to suicide.
If the president of the United States has the right to protect his own life with as many guns as it takes, why don’t the rest of us? Either the United States Constitution applies to all Americans or it doesn’t. Which is it?
Hello? Anybody? I just want one lib to answer any of these questions. Tell us why we should be defenseless against attackers, but our moral, ethical, and intellectual betters get to have as many guns as they want.
But this is all you hear:
Cowards.
Ants use pheromones to reassure each other that they’re not a threat. “I belong here,” the signal says. “I’m not an intruder. I’m one of you. Don’t kill me.”
The lib hive-mind does the same thing, except instead of pheromones, they use pronouns. And gun-control rhetoric. And other lefty nonsense. They want to survive, right? They wouldn’t want to get torn apart by their fellow drones.
Even when it makes them say really dumb things:
The answer, of course, is that it would be wrong. It’s wrong to kill innocent people, whether you use a scalpel or a gun or any other weapon. We’re not the hypocrites here. We’re not the ones clamoring to kill babies while trying to disarm law-abiding people. We’re entirely consistent on this point, and they’re not.
The addlebrained Ms. Ioffe just managed to make a solid anti-abortion argument without realizing it. Which is why she deleted it before her fellow ants got angry. But we’ll remember.
Stephen “Not the Trump Guy” Miller has one of the few podcasts I listen to, and in his latest episode, he makes a great point: The Uvalde school shooter was stopped by a Border Patrol agent, and now Biden can’t praise the man’s heroism or the Squad will go after him. Biden will lie about the Border Patrol whipping illegal aliens, but he won’t recognize the guy who risked his life to take down a mass murderer.
I’m just glad I didn’t vote for Biden.
Hunter’s laptop continues to not be fake:
This is why the Democratic Party, the mainstream media, and Silicon Valley teamed up before the 2020 election to suppress this story at all costs. They knew it could scuttle Joe Biden’s presidential hopes, and they hated Trump so much that they would tell any lie and suppress any truth. If you ever trust any of them again, you’re a fool.
Ahhh, communists. They’re so adorable.
A cappuccino commie, running an anti-capitalist cafe with $5 lattes and $30 tote bags. Delicious!
If this idiot believed what he’s saying, everything in his shop would be free. And he wouldn’t call the cops if somebody broke all his windows and ransacked the place for perpetuating the system he claims to oppose.
Ray Liotta, R.I.P.
Everybody’s talking about Goodfellas and Something Wild and Field of Dreams, but my first thought was how he was the only good thing about The Many Saints of Newark, the pointless and depressing prequel to The Sopranos. Liotta played two characters, twin brothers. One was a typical Hollywood mob guy, the other an atypical one. I liked the other guy a lot better.
Liotta is so great in this scene. He obviously doesn’t believe a word out of that murdering prick’s mouth, but he doesn’t need to say so. It’s all in the eyes. The tone of his voice. Masterful.
Ray Liotta was usually better than his material, particularly in his later years. Just a terrific actor. God rest his soul.
TGIF, and thanks for reading.
Hey, why not buy a subscription? I need money to live, and you want to read more of my words without being a dang freeloader. We can help each other here. It’s just $5/month or $50/year. Do it now, pretty please!
Also, please hit the tip jar.
That this jackass, POS shooter had basically free run of the place for nearly an hour, while the police sat outside because they didn't want to get shot? Shameful
Note to the sheriff who said he didn't want his deputies to get shot: That is, and I can not possibly say this in a nicer way, YOUR JOB. I would much rather a policeman be shot at than children. Children needed to smear blood on their faces and fake their death... for an hour. Your job, as a cop who is trained in the matter, is to stand in front of the innocent and take the bullet if that is what it means. You have a vest, you have a gun, you can return fire and save a life. IF you waited outside, fearful of taking a shot, you are a coward and are not worthy of your badge. Resign.
Julia Ioffe: Evidently a reporter for The Atlantic, who also wrote for the WaPo. Typical. Another example of why you should check on "reporting" nowadays.
No, Biden might not praise the BP agent who killed the murderer; then again, it may be the other cops all stood outside for 40 MINUTES while children were murdered, so I'd hold back on the praise. From the WSJ:
"Ms. Gomez, a farm supervisor, said that she was one of numerous parents waiting outside the school who began encouraging—first politely, and then with more urgency—police and other law enforcement to enter the school sooner. After a few minutes, she said, U.S. Marshals put her in handcuffs, telling her she was being arrested for actively intervening in an active investigation.
Ms. Gomez convinced local Uvalde police officers whom she knew to persuade the marshals to set her free. Around her, the scene was frantic. She said she saw a father tackled and thrown to the ground by police and a third pepper-sprayed. Once freed from her cuffs, Ms. Gomez made her distance from the crowd, jumped the school fence, and ran inside to grab her two children. She sprinted out of the school with them."
So the cops allegedly didn't go in for the killer, but cuffed and pepper-sprayed parents. You'd think they were at a school board meeting or something.
I'm not going to talk about guns either way; the children haven't been buried yet; I despise Biden for politicizing even this tragedy.
