But the whole thing was weird, and still is

Due to some sloppy reporting, the attack on Paul Pelosi in his own home by a hammer-wielding lunatic named David DePape was a lot more “complicated” than it needed to be.

Nobody wants to talk about it now, because it’s embarrassing, but a lot of people were convinced that DePape was one of two things: 1) a male prostitute, or 2) a Trump supporter.

As far as I know, nobody tried to argue he was both.
