There is copious televisual evidence that Pennsylvania senate candidate John Fetterman isn’t recovering well from his massive stroke earlier this year. He does okay reading off a script — at least by 2022 Grandpa Joe standards — but his extemporaneous speech is tough to watch:
It’s so bad that his campaign is now using his primary caregiver to get him through his heavily edited ads. Notice the jump cuts:
Is he running for office, or is she?
And the “Women for Fetterman” rally the other day was the most egregious example:
Fortunately for Fetterman, the cavalry has arrived. Our moral, ethical, and intellectual betters in the press are riding to his rescue. They want you to believe the video you just watched is fake:
No, that video wasn’t “doctored.” That’s just how Fetterman talks, because he had a stroke. If you don’t believe me, watch the whole speech:
Now the journos want you to stop noticing because it’s hurting Fetterman’s campaign. They’re trying to suppress the evidence, just like they did with Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Fetterman can barely get through a few sentences coherently, and I don’t know how the hell he’ll get through a debate. Just look at what his campaign is trying to pull:
So Fetterman gets to stand there and watch a monitor showing a live closed-caption feed of what his opponent is saying? We’re all supposed to wait around for him to finish reading and formulate a thought in reply? How about just dropping out and letting a competent candidate run?
The Dems are gonna drag this guy across the finish line if it’s the last thing they do. Rules are for their enemies, and their only standard is power.
