Netflix Is a "Stigma Brand," Apparently

First things first: I really don’t like Netflix. I hate their infliction of “binge TV” on our society, which treats television viewing like a hot dog eating contest and has the same ultimate result on the participant. I hate Netflix’s arrogance, as they crank out more garbage every week than all the other entertainment outlets combined, just because they can. “Whadda you gonna do about it?” I hate Netflix’s ugly interface and learning-disabled recommendation algorithm.

And the final straw was when Netflix showed kiddie porn and then just shrugged at anybody who complained. Sexually exploiting children for entertainment purposes is fine, because Netflix only cares about the money. I cancelled it a year ago, after being a member since the late ‘90s, and I haven’t missed it. Netflix sux.

So I don’t side with Netflix in the “Dave Chappelle vs. Angry Trannies” dispute because I like Netflix. I side with them despite hating everything they stand for. And I side with Dave Chappelle because he…
