NBC News Suspends Reporter Who Derailed the Paul Pelosi Narrative
Journalism is about protecting Democrats
It’s starting to feel like we’re never going to find out exactly what happened to Paul Pelosi.
First the press told us David DePape, the man who attacked Pelosi with a hammer in his own home, was arrested while wearing only his underwear. Then we were told that was incorrect. Then the press told us that there was a third person in the house who opened the door for the police. Then we were told that was incorrect.
Then Miguel Almaguer of NBC News reported the following, which was much different than the narrative that had been created and clumsily maintained:
Then NBC News pulled that report from the internet without explanation, just a vague non-retraction. And Almaguer hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Now, a week after the 2022 midterms, after anybody who would’ve been swayed by this incident has already voted:
Unlike a lot of folks, I don’t have a conspiracy theory about any of this. I don’t assume it was some sort of followup to 1/6, nor a gay lovers’ quarrel. I don’t claim to know what really happened.
