Joseph would have been better as the Doctor. You need a level of maturity the pictures of the actor they chose seem to be lacking. I’m not saying you have to be older, but Tenet comes across as an old soul. I didn’t like or dislike Matt Smith, he was ok. My favorite is Tom Baker, probably because those were the reruns playing when I was a kid. But what do I know?
Protests at Catholic churches are mere bigotry. Maybe abortion is the Sacrament of the Left. Worse, more than another "norm" is transgressed by picketing Justices' homes. It is truly an attack on our democracy. The idea that judges should not be intimidated violates the independence of the Judiciary that goes back to our Founding.
Paterson Joseph was brilliant as Johnson in Peep show: he had exactly the kind of volatility and intensity you need in a Doctor, and with a physical and emotional maturity that makes it more unnerving. This casting feels a bit like Tommy Solomon in 3rd Rock, but without Joseph Gordon Levitt's skill. Or Bugsy Malone in time travel.
George Perez and his work on the Titans and Crisis on Infinite Earth is what catapulted me into becoming a full-fledged comics nerd. After collecting some back issues from earlier artists, I kept wondering why they couldn't draw them as well as Perez could. Terrible loss to the comics world - and I've heard he was also an amazing person to meet at comic cons. In terms of who plays the Doctor, it doesn't really matter to me as long as the stories are interesting. That, more than the gender/sexuality/race/age of the Doctor, is what has dragged the franchise down of late.

I wonder if there could be a nationally-organized Day of Truth dual rally at the headquarters of CNN and MSNBC. People coming in from all over the country, blocking the building entrances and exits and chanting, "Tell the truth or turn it off!" You know, peaceful protests. Maybe for a full week, so all the hosts and anchors in all the dayparts get an idea of what civility means.
I didn't see even 100 actual 'protesters' at any of the 'events'. I sure wish someone would give us more total crowd shots. And as an aside, anytime students or employees 'demand' something there should quickly be an anonymous vote among all students or employees to see just what percentage of them is 'demanding' anything. I suspect it is very small.
