Mankind has a lot of problems, but we always overcome them because we can learn from our mistakes. When we fail, we always pick ourselves up, brush ourselves off, and figure out where we went wrong. It’s what separates us from the animals.
Ha ha ha, just kidding! If that were true, there wouldn’t be yet another Halloween movie in theaters right now. And this wouldn’t be happening:
Boston, huh? I wouldn’t worry about it, though, it’s not a big COVID town.
But seriously, folks. I’m no scientist, which might be why this seems like an incredibly bad idea. This is gain of function research, right? Taking an existing deadly virus and making it even deadlier. The exact same process that created COVID-19 and screwed up your whole life for the last three years.
Hey, here’s an idea: Let’s not do that! Whaddaya say, guys?
Well, at least we’ll be able to call it “the Boston virus” without anybody accusing us of racism.
I just wish I knew more about Boston sports, so I could come up with some better jokes to relieve the dread and simmering rage in my gut right now. These dumb bastards.
