As we all know, criticizing a black woman in a position of power is both racist and sexist, unless she’s a Republican. Therefore, none of what you’re about to read is intended as criticism. Just the opposite, really.

The job of the White House press secretary is to lie to the public in service of power. And you’ll find no finer examples than these, from the incoming White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre:

Claiming an election was stolen is good, unless you’re a Republican.

Now, a lot of you may disagree, but I think this is a good thing. For far too long, the American people have had the ridiculous expectation that public figures should be intelligent and rational.

But where’s the fun in that?
