I Wore My Mask and I Got My Shots and Now You Will Leave Me Alone

If we’ve learned one thing during this pandemic, it’s that scientists and doctors are just human beings like the rest of us. They’re not infallible. They’re not gods. They’re every bit as prone to groupthink and cognitive bias as anyone else. Even really smart people can believe really stupid things.
For example:
Wait. What? This makes no sense. If I’m vaccinated, I’m not going to get sick. That’s the whole point of getting vaccinated.
THAT’S THE WHOLE POINT OF GETTING VACCINATED.
If someone else is unvaccinated and gets sick, how is that my problem? They should’ve gotten vaccinated. Why should I have to participate in an “honor system” or be subject to some sort of mask mandate, just because somebody else took a risk and is now facing the consequences? I didn’t do anything wrong.
I’m vaccinated. If you want my opinion, you should get vaccinated. And if you don’t want my opinion, you should get vaccinated.
That’s it. That’s all I or anyone else can do. If you choose not to get vaccinated, that’s your right as an American. You’re gambling with your life, but it’s your body and your choice. The government cannot force you to put something into your system against your will.
And, also, in addition to that: If your employer says you have to get vaccinated and/or wear a mask, and you don’t do it, he has every right to fire you. You can go and be an individual American at home or some other place of business.
These are all individual decisions. The state cannot mandate them. That’s not the role of the United States government.
I was a good boy and did what I was told for a year and a half. I locked down and socially distanced and wore my mask and got my shots. I didn’t get sick or make anybody else sick.
And now you will leave me alone. I have had it with this crap.

Despite the complete lack of evidence for Christine Blasey Ford’s accusation, despite the fact that she can’t even tell us where or when this alleged assault happened, despite none of her supposed witnesses backing up her story, she’s still trying to smear Brett Kavanaugh’s name. A few diehard commies will cheer her on, but everybody else sees this pathetic spectacle for what it is.
Journos and other Democrats were all so desperate to bring down Kavanaugh and prevent The Handmaid’s Tale from coming true — still waiting on that one, by the way — that they even trusted Michael Avenatti. And look where that asshole is now.
The Democrats lost my vote for life when they tried to destroy Brett Kavanaugh. That was the last straw. If they don’t have the sense to knock it off already, let them keep alienating normal people.
At first I was skeptical about CNN+, the upcoming streaming service created for the theoretical human being who hasn’t had enough of CNN already. I just didn’t see the appeal. But after checking out Andrew Stiles’ preview of the service, I can’t wait!
CNN is also selling NFTs now. I’m still not sure what those things are, and the more I learn about them, the more confused I get. But if CNN is trying to cash in on them, I assume the fad has passed.
Longtime readers know my opinion of the State Department: unfavorable. They didn’t get on my good side by crippling me for life and then blaming me for it, and the whole Benghazi thing didn’t do anything to endear them to me either.
But things can always get even worse. Now they’re not even capable of doing the basic things they’re supposed to do, like issuing and renewing passports, because State Dept. employees won’t go back to work. I assume they’re still getting paid, yes? That tends to be how this goes. The taxpayers have to keep paying taxes, but the checks don’t stop just because the government employees stop working.
Ladies and gentlemen: the president of the United States.

THE PRESIDENT: I’m the Democratic Party; I am President. So is the Speaker of the House and so is the –- the Majority Leader. We are not the defunding the police.
Q: Okay. And are there people who — in the Democratic Party, who want to defund the police?
THE PRESIDENT: Are there people in the Republican Party who think we’re sucking the blood out of kids?
I hadn’t heard that one, but I’ve heard plenty of Dems who want to defund the police. If Biden wants to insist they can do both, okay then.
Why doesn’t the Biden administration just admit that Hunter’s “art career” is another influence-peddling scheme? Nobody on earth really believes anyone is going to pay half a million bucks for one of his paintings because of its artistic value. He’s getting paid to make deals on behalf of his father.
Jen Psaki just got done telling us the whole thing was going to be anonymous, which would somehow make it more legit. But now it turns out Hunter will be meeting with the buyers after all. Gee, I wonder what they’ll talk about? I wonder which drug he’ll spend it all on? I wonder which nationality the call girls will be? It’s all good, just as long as “The Big Guy” gets his cut.
It’s outright comical how corrupt the press is. Ivanka would fart in an elevator and the NYT put a team on it, and now they just let the Biden family get away with murder. I really hate all of these scumbags.

Jolt is the latest “Girls Can Kick Ass Too, Y’know” movie to come out of Hollywood, or Bulgaria, or wherever. It’s not very good, nobody seems to care much about what they’re doing in it, I guessed the “twist” within the first 15 minutes, and the whole thing comes off like some producer watched Crank and said, “Give me that, but don’t make it so damn exciting!”
But it’s less than 90 minutes long and there’s plenty of punching and kicking and Kate Beckinsale is still hot and actually she’s kinda funny. Plus, it comes with Amazon Prime. Bezos just let you watch him go to space, and now he gives you a mediocre feminist action movie in the same week. He’s always thinking about your needs.
A Quick Note to the MAGA-Heads Who Hate My Guts and Can’t Stop Whining About It
Every week I get DJT fans telling me I wanted Biden to win, or I told people to vote for Biden, or some other nonsense about how much I supposedly love Biden. They’re like, “Why do you keep calling him a decrepit old man who’s losing his mind, after you told everybody to vote for him?” And I’m like, “What? Citation needed!” You can’t quote me ever saying that, because I’ve never said that.
No matter how much it hurts your feelings that I don’t like your hero, that doesn’t mean I’m cheering for the Democrats either. I don’t like most politicians, and I really don’t like their superfans.
You guys keep telling me that I’m an obscure nobody, and also that I’m directly responsible for the result of the 2020 election. That’s called doublethink. You really shouldn’t attempt it until you’ve mastered plain old thinking.
DJT was the first incumbent to lose the White House in almost 30 years. He totally blew it. But somehow it’s my fault?
No, it was his election to lose, and he lost. To that clown. He failed you. He would’ve lost even if I had never been born. He would’ve lost even if your mom and dad weren’t siblings just like their parents.

JT, can't say that Trump is 'my hero' and it doesn't hurt my feelings when you ridicule him. But I beg to differ that Trump 'blew it'. Nothing on the face of the Earth can persuade me that Biden got more votes than Trump. I will go to my grave convinced that the thumb was on the scale for Biden.
