I Don't Like Libs, But That Doesn't Mean They're "Groomers"
"Don't Say Gay" is a lie, but so is "OK Groomer"
Okay, two things right up front:
No, there is no such thing as a “Don’t Say Gay” bill, in Florida or anywhere else. Whenever you hear someone talking about “Don’t Say Gay,” their entire argument is premised on a lie. It’s moronic and dishonest, but people remember it because it rhymes.
No, kindergarten teachers are not grooming their students to have sex with them.
“Groomer” is the new insult to throw at libs, and I can understand why. The right finally stumbled on a slur that’s every bit as enraging, and just as impossible to disprove, as the one they always hear: “racist.”
Well, if they’re gonna call me a racist all the time, I’m gonna start calling them groomers. Serves ‘em right!
That seems to be the thinking. And I get it. I’m not jumping on that bandwagon, but I understand why the bandwagon exists.
I won’t condemn anybody for striking back at the left in like fashion. Fighting fire with fire. This is the playing field the libs wanted, they’re getting a dose of their own tactics, and they really don’t like it. That’s fine by me.
As Saul Alinsky wrote: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” It’s impossible, because we’re all merely human. Which is why it’s so much fun to watch libs squirm when their own caca del toro is flung back on them. As Alinsky also wrote: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.”
But the accusation isn’t true, just like libs screaming “Racist!” at anybody who disagrees with them is a bunch of crap. And I’m not going to pretend it is true, just to prevent somebody I don’t know from hurling an accusation that we both know is false. That’s how witch hunts start, and I’m just not interested in burning innocent people at the stake.
Instead, I’ll continue to ask libs why the hell they want to teach prepubescent kids about sex. I’ll keep trying to make them think about why they’re saying these things. But I’m not going to call them groomers, because we all know they’re not. They don’t want to rape children. They just want to maintain control of the schools and spite their enemies, even when it forces them to make really dumb, dishonest, and repulsive arguments. After all, if they had a problem with lying to put points on the scoreboard, they wouldn’t be liberals.
Stephen “Not the Trump Guy” Miller talked about this in more depth yesterday on his excellent Versus Media podcast. I highly recommend it.
