If a tree falls in the forest and everybody hears it, can you still defend the Democrat who chopped it down?

So a Secret Service agent found some cocaine in the White House over the weekend. Which, after the events of the last three years, sounds like a joke.

Despite initial reports, though, the cocaine was found not in the library, but in a “work area of the West Wing.” Then they evacuated the whole place. Which I guess is protocol? I don’t remember the White House ever being evacuated for cocaine before. Maybe they thought it was anthrax or something.

Regardless, this is a bit of a pickle for our moral, ethical, and intellectual betters in the press. How do they keep defending the most hilariously inept and corrupt presidential administration in American history?
