Look, it’s Friday, I’m tired, you’re tired, let’s not make a big deal out of this.
Courtesy of my old Daily Caller colleague Nick Ballasy, here’s Ben Stiller talking about why he’s so amazingly excited to vote for Kamala Harris. I think Stiller sums up the prevailing mood among her supporters:
“Just very excited about moving forward and all the energy and excitement that surround this movement right now… Because it’s time for change and it seems like it’s happening.”
Yeah, I wouldn’t know how to answer that question either.
What can a Democrat really say at this point? You can’t cite Kamala’s policies, because the ones she’s implemented have failed, and she’s flip-flopping on all the rest. You can’t point to anything she’s said, because it’s all rambling, self-contradictory nonsense. She might be an even worse candidate now than she was in 2020.
Well, technically, 2019. That was when she dropped out of the race.
So, you just stick to vague, unfalsifiable claims like “energy” and “excitement.” Sure, that sounds good. Present her as the candidate of “change,” because maybe everybody will forget she’s been the vice president this whole time.
“Joy.” “Vibes.” “Brat.” Etc.
And don’t forget the TikTok dances! Oh my goodness:
