In October 2020, the news broke that Hunter Biden, an admitted alcoholic and drug addict, had abandoned a laptop full of incriminating evidence at a repair shop less than five miles from his father’s house. Instantly, the mainstream media and Silicon Valley and all the other Democrats circled the wagons to salvage Joe Biden’s presidential campaign. They tried various excuses to make the story go away, but finally they settled on blaming Vladimir Putin. Somehow, the Russians had a mole in a Delaware computer shop? It didn’t make sense, but Democrats will believe whatever they’re told to believe. (And so will some Republicans.)
But that was then. Now the Dems have new marching orders. Or, in the case of CNN’s Brian Stelter, waddling orders:
It’s official: The Democrats are panicking about the 2024 election and they’re trying to dump Biden. They lied to attain power, it’s not turning out the way they wanted, and now their last resort is the truth.
And they have good reason to be afraid of the American voting public. The leader of their party has obviously lost his few remaining marbles:
But Joe’s beleaguered staffers are valiantly fighting back, using the most potent weapon of 21st Century psychological warfare: the meme.
Yeah, appropriating MAGA memes will definitely raise Joe’s poll numbers. Americans will forget the record-high gas prices and skyrocketing inflation. So what if the president of the United States now tests positive for COVID every time his staff wants to keep him away from the cameras? Who cares if he can’t get through a sentence without bumbling around like Mr. Magoo at a paintball tournament? They made some memes. That oughta do it.
