Congratulations to Johnny Depp or Amber Heard or Whoever Won
It's now misogynist to say they both stink
I haven’t really been following the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial because they’re both lunatics and either way is fine with me. They both seem like a nightmare to live with, neither one strikes me as a reliable narrator, and the whole thing is just gross. Any verdict is better than one more day of this crap.
But this response to the verdict is kind of amazing:
So… she can’t be a liar because he’s an asshole? Is that how it works?
Let’s try a little thought experiment:
BREAKING: After a jury heard a string of texts from Amber Heard saying she wanted to “burn” Johnny Depp and that she would “fuck his burnt corpse” to “make sure he is dead,” they decided Depp defamed Heard and acted with “malice.”
Somehow, I don’t think Vice “News” would hold that against Amber Heard. They’d interpret it as a subjugated victim bravely lashing out at her tormentor.
In any dispute between a man and a woman, the woman must be telling the truth. Because women are always the victim. That’s how libs think. There’s a hierarchy of victimhood, and Heard is higher on it than Depp.
If you really believe in equality, why can’t a woman be an abuser? If women can do everything men can do, why not that?
Now, if Heard had married a black woman, it would be different. Heard would be the oppressor, no matter what happened. Duh.
But she didn’t, so now we get headlines like this:
Yeah. Wait. What?
The only message this sends to black women is that being white isn’t a Get Out of Jail free card. Not everything has to do with your obsession with race, libs.
