Biden: Democracy Is at Risk, So We Must Have One-Party Rule
How can we stop fascism if we allow dissent?
I don’t know why they keep pushing Biden in front of the cameras. It doesn’t help anybody but the Republicans.
The old man gave yet another televised speech last night, apparently some sort of closing argument before the midterms his party will lose. And did he tell us why we should vote for the Democrats? Did he make an argument for why they’re the better party? Did he address any of our concerns about the issues of the day?
Well, he did mention them in passing. Then he focused on what’s important to him: his legacy.
How’s that for a winning message: “We must stop these fascists by instituting one-party rule.”
He also exploited Paul Pelosi’s pain in a desperate attempt to stave off the Dems’ inevitable losses next week:
It’s just repulsive, man. A drug-addled lunatic (and illegal alien) with no coherent political views attacked an old man, and now another old man is using him as a human shield.
Biden — or whoever writes the crap that comes out of his mouth — is just the sort of apocalyptic fascist demagogue everybody warned me Trump would be. He’s demonizing millions of people, and using Trump as an excuse.
Should Trump admit he lost in 2020? Yes. Should Stacey Abrams admit she lost in 2018? Yes. Should Hillary Clinton admit she lost in 2016? Yes. Should Al Gore admit he lost in 2000? Yes.
Are any of them endangering Democracy? No. It’s doing just fine, even though they’re assholes.
I’m not a “MAGA Republican,” whatever that even means. I’ve always condemned what happened on 1/6, and I don’t deny Trump’s part in it. And, also, in addition to that: Democracy prevailed that day. A bunch of hooligans ransacking the Capitol didn’t stop it. And neither will the Dems being resoundingly defeated in five days.
Biden doesn’t care about democracy, however he chooses to define it. He’s just worried he’ll be remembered as the guy who dragged down the Democratic Party.
