If DeSantis is such a loser, why do they need to keep lying about him?

I don’t know if “smearwashing” is a word already and I’m too tired to find out, but if not, I’m coining it now. Smearwashing is when a smear — a damn lie, in fact — is laundered so it doesn’t appear to have originated from its true source. It’s a lot like money laundering, if you’ve been paying attention to the Biden family.
