A few weeks ago, Dave Chappelle was attacked onstage by a guy with a knife. Over the weekend, Chappelle went back onstage and joked about it. And guess who’s the victim? Not him!

Oooh, I know this one! The comedian told jokes because he was performing at a comedy show. Because the purpose of comedy is not to affirm anyone’s identity. Because tough luck.

like, i cannot stop you from reading jk rowling or watching dave chappelle in the privacy of your own home but if in the year 2022 you are PUBLICLY PLATFORMING them, you've made a clear and unequivocal statement about where you stand on trans rights. sorry. that's just a fact.
